We look forward to welcoming all our NESCAN members, and other friends that are interested in community-led climate action to this year’s Members’ Gathering and AGM!
Come connect, network, and share your ideas, learning, and knowledge with like-minded individuals from across Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire. This is your space to be inspired, get involved, and help shape the future of NESCAN.

Our Annual General Meeting (AGM) will also take place on this day as part of the NESCAN Members’ Gathering. Please do use your vote, to proactively develop and help drive NESCAN Hub forward. We are a membership organisation, and your input is valuable and appreciated. An agenda will be shared closer to the date.
As you may already be aware, there have been some changes to your NESCAN Membership as part of NESCAN Hub’s transition to becoming a charity. Now, by being a member of NESCAN, you’re automatically a full member of NESCAN Hub Ltd. This means you have voting rights at our AGM and an even greater voice in shaping our work and how we’re governed.
These changes include:
- No £1 membership fee to become a NESCAN Hub member—joining is now free!
- All NESCAN members have voting rights to help shape our work.
- Organisations and individuals who are not currently a NESCAN member and want to be part of community-led action on climate change and are based in Aberdeen City or Aberdeenshire are welcome to join so please do spread the word.
If you’d prefer not to be a member of NESCAN Hub Ltd, you can opt out by letting us know at info@nescan.org.
What to expect on the day?
Join us at our free gathering, packed with inspiration, the chance to make connections, and to share insights and learnings on how best to take climate action. Enjoy a warm cup of tea or coffee, refreshments, and a light lunch to keep you fuelled throughout the day.
You'll get to:
- Have your say at our Annual General Meeting (AGM) and help shape the future of NESCAN Hub.
- Hear inspiring talks on key topics like retrofit, biodiversity, and more, by expert speakers.
- Share your own projects and ideas during the ‘open mic’ session.
- “Ask the Hub” to chat with our team—raise questions, share thoughts or get to know us.
- Engage in interactive, fun, and memorable activities to leave you feeling inspired and energised.
We encourage everyone to car share where possible as it’s a great way to reduce your carbon footprint and make the journey more fun. You can use Liftshare to find or offer a lift.
